Storer House Bookends

In the early 1920's Wright lived for a short while in Southern California. During this time, he created a system of home construction using what he called "Textile Blocks". These blocks were cast concrete construction blocks, with a patterned exterior surface; some had perforations to allow light to pass through. 

Wright designed and built four homes and the collection includes Ennis House, Millard House, Storer House and Freeman House. The Storer House Bookends represents another of Wright's California Block House designs.  Proudly made in the USA.
