Life Size Archangel Gabriel Statue

Saint Gabriel is the well noted archangel, also known as the Angel of Mercy,  who appeared to Zachariah to announce the birth of St. John the Baptizer. He was also the archangel who presented himself to Mary and announced that she would be bearing the son conceived of the Holy Spirit. Christian literature often has featured Saint Gabriel kneeling before Mary and carrying a scroll or a trumpet and announcing the birth of her Sacred son, Jesus Christ.
