More than 450 over years ago, Our Lady of Guadalupe miraculously appeared seeking the building of a church in her name in Tepeyac Hill, Mexico. She chose a simple farmhand, Juan Diego, to pass her request on to the Bishop. The beauty of the form which miraculously appeared before the bishop as Juan Diego stooped to show the roses to the Bishop, has been beautifully preserved and revered, the form of which has inspired the creation of this beautiful statue. Our Lady of Guadalupe is created from marble and fiberglass resin aggregates. Hand finished by Italian artisans.

The sculpture is derived from a handcrafted replica and offers the fine features and details that you would expect from classic Italian statuary.
