Find a Suitable Location:

Think of a specific garden design that incorporates all your garden art, flower beds and plants - based on this, find the most suitable spot for your sundial. While there could be endless locations for your sundial, remember to choose a spot that gives you the most sun. Otherwise, your sundial will not do you any service.

And place your sundial on a pedestal to add height to your garden design. If you do not have many tall growing plants, adding a sundial pedestal would be a great solution in creating that horizontal effect. Many sun dials come with matching pedestals.
