Boulder

This adaptation of the Boulder is produced using modern technology and materials making it impervious to the elements and enabling this important sculpture to be viewed and enjoyed for years to come. Frank Lloyd Wright collaborated with sculptor Richard Bock to envision two sculptures of a solid, crouching figure of a man. Wright and Bock felt the sculpture symbolized the struggle of the oppressed and shackled soul to break it's bonds and find self expression.

Cast in plaster and tinted to resemble red granite, the original sculptures disintegrated over the years and were recreated by the Frank Lloyd Wright Home and Studio Foundation as part of it's award winning restoration of the building.  Proudly made in the USA.
